General terms and conditions of use


1. PROGRAMME FEATURES

The O'Logis Loyalty Programme (the Programme) run by the Fédération Internationale des Logis (FIL or Administrator) aims to enable Members of the O'Logis Programme to benefit from the advantages described below during their visits to Logis hotels and restaurants.



2. ESTABLISHMENTS PARTICIPATING IN THE PROGRAMME

All establishments in the Logis network in Europe are part of the O'Logis programme. Only the list of Logis establishments on the website "logishotels.com" can be used as a reference. If a hotel leaves the Logis network after a booking but before the stay, Members will not be awarded any points, and special offers will no longer be valid after the date the establishment leaves the network, even if the booking was made before that date.
In all other cases, if points are not credited to Members when they should be, or if an advantage related to their membership is refused, the responsibility of FIL will be limited to crediting the correct number of points to their account, via a request on the o-logis.com website or on receiving a letter by registered post with notice of receipt from the Member, within one month of receiving the complaint. The Member must attach to the letter or email the hotel invoice for the stay relating to the points claimed.



3. PROGRAMME MEMBERSHIP

3.1. CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP

All physical persons of adult age according to the law of the country the Member resides in and/or who have the legal capacity to contract, may participate. Minors cannot take part in the Programme. Joining the Programme is free and the card is strictly personal; it cannot be sold or lent. It is not a means of payment. Each card states the Member's individual identification number.
Each member can only have one O'Logis card.
Members should not give their card number or password to anyone. They are responsible for all operations to and from their account. Members must have a personal e-mail address and a mobile number to join the Programme. A single e-mail address for two Members will not be accepted.
Programme Members agree that the Programme may be modified, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice, and that they may review any changes at o-logis.com.


3.2. HOW TO JOIN

3.2.1. In Logis establishments

The Customer may join the O'Logis programme when visiting a Logis establishment. The operator will give them their card, which the Member activates by creating an account on the o-logis.com website (Section on O'Logis Creating/Activating an account ). After receiving an activation e-mail, they can activate their account and take advantage of all the services offered by the Programme: access to the different features on the O'Logis website (check points on account, convert points, etc).
New Members can log onto the o-logis.com website at any time.

3.2.2. On the o-logis.com website

Individuals can also join the O'Logis Programme by filling in a subscription form on the o-logis.com website. Once registration is complete, the Member receives an e-mail confirmation of membership with a Member number (temporary or physical card) relating to the contact information provided when signing up. This Member number can be used to immediately enjoy all the Programme's services. If required, the Member can pick up a physical card during their next visit to a Logis establishment.To do this, they need to request an update of their 13-digit temporary membership number to the one that features on their physical card (9923......) at a Logis establishment of their choice or on the Contact form of the www.o-logis.com website.



4. RECEIPT AND USE OF THE CARD

The Card is given to the Member during a visit to the establishment. To benefit from its advantages, the Member must have activated their account on the o-logis.com website. Respecting these provisions is a condition for accessing the Programme's advantages.
Commitments and rules to be followed by the Member:
– present their physical or e-card and/or Member number on arrival at the establishment,
– do not lend or give their card to a third party,
– do not commit fraud or attempt to do so, to gain points,
– if it is lost or stolen: Members should inform the Administrator of the programme, using the "My account" section of the website.



5. TERMS & CONDITIONS OF TERMINATION

5.1. AT THE MEMBER’S INITIATIVE

Members can decide at any time to no longer be part of the O'Logis Programme. Ending subscription implies complete withdrawal from the Programme and the definitive end of all relations between the O'Logis programme and the Member.
The Member can proceed to cancel on the website www.o-logis.com or by sending a registered letter stating their wish to terminate their membership of the Programme. The letter should be addressed to the Fédération Internationale des Logis – Service O’Logis – 83 avenue d’Italie – 75013 Paris, France.
Withdrawal from the Programme leads to the loss of all points in their account on the date of withdrawal and the complete removal of all data regarding the Member in the O'Logis database.
The member's personal data in the O'Logis database will be erased within two months from the date the Programme is terminated.


5.2. AT THE INITIATIVE OF THE PROGRAMME ADMINISTRATOR

Use of the O'Logis (Programme) Card in breach of the present terms and conditions may be sanctioned by the immediate cancellation of the card, its advantages, the closing of the account and removal of all O'Logis points gained without the Member being able to claim any compensation for any reason.
In the event of the Programme being ended on the initiative of the Administrator for any other reason than use in breach of the present terms and conditions by the Member, they will have 2 months from the official Programme closure date to turn all their points into loyalty vouchers. After this date, points can no longer be converted into O'Logis loyalty vouchers.
The Member's personal data in the O'Logis database will be erased within two months from the date the Programme is terminated.



6. COLLECTING O'LOGIS POINTS

O'Logis points cannot be transferred to another Member.
O'Logis points have no monetary value and no money can be exchanged for O'Logis points that are lost or not used.

6.1. RULES OF ACQUISITION IN LOGIS ESTABLISHMENTS

Members of the O'Logis Programme gain points based on the rules below: "Restaurant only" service:

  • For expenditure of less than €20 per person: €1 spent = 1 point
  • For expenditure of €20 or more per person: €1 spent = 2 points
"Accommodation only" and "accommodation + restaurant" service: The member can accumulate up to 5 points per euro spent. The cumulative points are based on the hotel's scale of generosity. 4 possible scales:
  • €1 spent = 2 points
  • €1 spent = 3 points
  • €1 spent = 4 points
  • €1 spent = 5 points
The scale offered by each hotel is available from its hotel page on the logishotels.com website and the Logis mobile application. Points are immediately credited to the customer’s account and can be used 24hr after the transaction.


6.2. CONVERSION AND ROUNDING OFF

6.2.1. Calculation of rounding off

Only whole numbers of points can be credited. If the euro/O'Logis points conversion results in a decimal number of points, the number of O'Logis points credited will be rounded down to the nearest whole number if the decimal is under 5, and rounded up to the nearest whole number if the decimal is equal to or above 5.
So for example:
_ €280.40 spent means 561 O'Logis points credited
_ €280.80 spent means 562 O'Logis points credited

* For a scale where €1 = 2 points


6.3. VALIDITY OF POINTS

O'Logis points are valid for 12 months from the end of the relevant quarter, so are valid for between 12 and 15 months depending on when the point was awarded. For example, points gained in January 2018 are valid until 31 March 2019, so 15 months, while points gained in February 2018 are also valid until March 2019, giving 14 months.


6.4. EARNING O'LOGIS POINTS

Points can only be credited to a single O'Logis card.

6.4.1. Eligible services

- accommodation
- restaurant
- accommodation/restaurant
- other services depending on the establishment, ask your hotelier.

6.4.2. Eligible prices

Eligible prices entitle Members to the Programme's advantages.
All public rates displayed at the establishment, including half-board and Business Stopover prices, are eligible.
The following bookings are not eligible:
- Any booking via OTAs (Booking, Expedia, Hotels.com, etc.), travel agencies or tour operators - Any booking made via a booking channel other than that of the hotel itself, the Logis Booking Service or the logishotels.com website. - The accumulation of points does not apply, among other things, to promotional offers, discounts, group rates or those negotiated directly with the establishment, packages, deals and boxes (e.g. seminars, banquets, weddings, gift boxes, etc). - Regarding the tourist tax, if it is paid as part of the package, it is included in the price to be considered. If paid per night, it must be deducted.

6.4.3. Restrictions linked to sales terms

Rooms which are booked through an agent or third party, for example, tour operators or distribution channels other than the online Logis Booking Service (L.I.S), will not entitle Members to points or any other advantage linked to the Programme, except for bookings made through companies which have signed commercial agreements with LIS or FIL.



7. CONVERTING O'LOGIS POINTS

O'Logis points can be converted into O'Logis loyalty vouchers.

All requests to convert O'Logis points into loyalty vouchers are irreversible.

7.1. CONVERSION INTO O'LOGIS LOYALTY VOUCHERS

Every time the number of O'Logis points accumulated on the Member's points account reaches a defined number of usable O'Logis points (online account statement is binding), the Member can convert their usable points into O'Logis loyalty vouchers. The usable O'Logis points threshold is defined in the "My account" section. The description of O'Logis loyalty vouchers (value and conversion scale) is also available on the o-logis.com website, in the "My loyalty vouchers" section.

7.1.1. O’Logis loyalty vouchers

O'Logis loyalty vouchers are in electronic format or can be printed from the o-logis.com website. They are valid in all O'Logis hotels in Europe, without restriction in terms of the day, until their expiry date (1 year from their creation date), except for provisions in article 2.
They allow you to pay for all or part of the services provided in a Logis establishment.
Outside the Euro zone, the exchange rate used will be the one applied by the hotel on departure.
O'Logis loyalty vouchers are transferable and non-personal.
O'Logis loyalty vouchers are valid for 1 year (expiry date stated on the voucher).
To be valid, use of the electronic or paper voucher, or simply by presenting the Member's number as a means of payment should be made before the voucher's expiry date in the hotel and/or restaurant.
Payment by O'Logis loyalty voucher must be made to the establishment. The number of the voucher presented as payment for the service will no longer be valid and can therefore not be re-used by the Member.
Several O'Logis loyalty vouchers may be used for the payment of a single service, and it is possible to top up the value of the voucher by any other means of payment accepted by the establishments.
O'Logis loyalty vouchers cannot be replaced or reimbursed, or be changed back into O'Logis points if they are lost, stolen, damaged or have expired.
Change cannot be given in exchange for an O'Logis loyalty voucher.



8. ERRORS AND RETROSPECTIVE CLAIMS

COMPLAINTS TO THE FÉDÉRATION INTERNATIONALE DES LOGIS:
If a Member notices that their O'Logis points have not been correctly credited, they can request that their credit be corrected, following the conditions below: they have a period of two (2) months following their stay (date of departure as proof), to make a request via o-logis.com or by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt to the FIL by enclosing their invoice.
They must explain the subject of their complaint and attach a copy of the relevant bill (stay or meal). The invoice should not include any handwritten changes, and only the format delivered by the hotel will be accepted. To credit O'Logis points, the invoice for which the claim is made must be written out in the name of the Member.



9. PROGRAMME COMMUNICATIONS

Members can access all the information relevant to their subscription to the O'Logis Programme on the o-logis.com website.
O'Logis Members who have joined the Programme can subscribe to e-mail and text message commercial communications.
If a Member no longer wishes to receive commercial information by e-mail and/or text message, they can unsubscribe at any time (in their personal account on the o-logis.com website, by clicking on "unsubscribe" in the "My profile" section). Any change of e-mail address, mobile phone number, name and/or postal address, or any other information that may be required under the O'Logis programme, must be made by the Member through their personal account within the o-logis.com website.



10. CNIL (NATIONAL COMMISSION FOR INFORMATION AND PRIVACY) & GOVERNING STATUTE

Data collected is processed by the Fédération Internationale des Logis, which manages processing, within the framework of subscriptions as well as the administration of the Programme, complaints and the sending of information and communications.
In accordance with the provisions of the law of 6 January 1978 as amended and of the General Regulation No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament on the protection of personal data of 27/04/2016 and applicable from May 25, 2018, each Member of the Programme has the right to access, interrogate, rectify and delete data concerning him or her, as well as a right to prevent, for legitimate reasons, the personal data about him or her from being processed, and a right to refuse any type of canvassing, in particular commercial. Members who exercise their right to delete personal data during the Programme will see their subscription to the Programme terminated according to article 5.1 of these terms and conditions. These rights can be exercised through a simple written request to the address dpo@logishotels.com that will respond to the requests made.

As part of the Logis Loyalty Program, the purpose of processing personal data collected corresponds to the performance of the service provided. This goal can also be the implementation of customer statistics for Logis hotels in general (anonymized), as well as the sending of promotional offers.

Subscribing to the Programme implies acceptance without reserve of these terms and conditions by Members. The present terms and conditions supersede any previous texts.
In the event of a dispute between a Member and the Fédération Internationale des Logis, the parties commit to first try to find an amicable agreement.

FRENCH LAW IS THE ONLY LAW APPLICABLE All disagreements or disputes that may occur within the framework of these terms and conditions that cannot be solved amicably between the parties will be heard by the competent Paris tribunals.

The most recent version of the present Terms and Conditions of Use of the O’Logis Programme is available on the www.o-logis.com website and replaces all previous versions.
